Cambodia has >550 garment factories.
Cambodia supports the global demand for textiles and pays with environmental impacts
20% of waste in the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers are textiles

Our Solution
Each garment our designers remake is a vehicle for awareness of the fashion industry's impact in our community and globally.
-
1. Rescue clothes from the river
We've partnered with the incredible team at everwave to deliver the clothes they've meticulously sorted from the daily trash haul.
-
2. Wash them
After the clothes are sorted they will go to our center where we’ll wash them and sort them based on upcycling technique.
-
3. Collaborate with young designers
Our designers then use their insane creativity to makeover the fabrics into one-of-a-kind outfits.
Zero Waste Center/Everwave
ReMade partners with everwave, a waste management startup, to upcycle post-industrial and post-consumer textile waste into fashionable clothing.

Rivers and Wildlife
We're on a mission to nurture a deep love for Cambodia's rare waterbirds around the enchanting Tonle Sap, all in the pursuit of safeguarding these beautiful creatures.
We want the trash out of their homes.
