Both designers are inspired by the often forgotten Queen Ang Mey 1814-1874 who after her father - the King - passed was appointed as the head of the Khmer administration.nLoved by none, blamed by many, a queen without a voice. Her people saw betrayal in her obedience, though her heart bore the weight of a daughter surviving a world ruled by men and empires. When she was no longer useful they discarded her - exiled, erased.
